Wedding Dress Shopping FAQ

Yes, with the exception of Wednesday Walk-Ins, appointments are required to try on any and all dresses, including bridal, MOB, and bridesmaids.

At Beloved Bridal, every appointment is one-on-one. This allows our experienced bridal stylists to focus entirely on you, your vision, and finding the gown that feels right. From the moment you walk through our doors, we're here to make the process feel effortless, personal, and genuinely memorable.

Want to explore our collection without the commitment of an appointment? Join us for Wednesday Walk-Ins On Wednesdays between 11am-5pm, you have the opportunity to browse our curated collections, chat with a stylist, and if a stylist is available, even try on a few of your favorites. This is a relaxed way to experience our bridal shop at your own pace. We do not accept walk-ins 30 minutes before close.

We reserve 90 minutes for our bridal appointments. 

We've found this to be enough time to try on gowns and place your order. We do offer a VIP Appointment if you'd prefer a longer appointment.

Bring the people who make you feel your best. 

For some, this may mean shopping alone and for others it may be a few loved ones. We ask that you bring no more than five guests. If you know you'll have more than five joining you, our VIP Appointment may be a better fit for you and your needs.

We encourage you to bring nude undergarments to best reflect the fit of the gown on your wedding day. 

If you prefer to wear shape wear feel free to bring it along, but it is not required. 

Many of our gowns have built-in cups so, depending on your gown, you may choose to go without a bra on your wedding day. If you'd feel more comfortable with additional coverage during your appointment, we recommend bringing a sticky bra or nipple pasties. 

No need to bring heels -- we have pedestals to emulate the look and feel of wearing heels with your gown.

Our gowns range from $1,500 to $4,000.

Naturally, some of our designers have prices that are higher than others. We will always do our best to honor your price point and help you find a dress you love.

No worries if you need to reschedule, life happens! 

We ask that you please cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment as we typically have a waitlist of brides hoping to shop with us. On the day of your appointment you find that you're unable to make it, please call the shop and we can help you reschedule.

The majority of our samples are size 10-14, with a few samples lying above and below this range. 

We understand that it can be difficult to envision yourself in a wedding dress that isn't your size, but we work our magic to clip and zip as best we can to help you get a closer look of what you'll look like on your wedding day. We use pedestals to add length, clips to pull fabric closed, and panels to add fabric where it's needed. 

We recommend shopping as early as possible -- this ensures you'll have the most options and the least stress.

Many of our gowns are made-to-order, meaning your dress won't start being made until you place your order and make your deposit. To put a timeframe on it, we highly recommend dress shopping 8-10 months in advance, 

Production timelines for dresses vary by designer and style. 

On average, production and ship time can be between 4-6 months from your order date. An additional 1-2 months should be added for alterations.

Don't worry, you still have options! We will always do our best to find you the dress of your dreams. 

We have a large selection of off-the-rack gowns on the second floor of our bridal boutique. Book an Off-the-Rack Appointment with us to shop the collection.

We select the gown size based on your unique measurements, however, we can confidently say that your gown will still require some alterations to get the best fit. 

Alterations do not take place at Beloved Bridal but we work very closely with a trusted tailor that we recommend for all of our Beloved Brides. She is an expert in the craft and will be able to give you the most accurate information on all things alterations, should you choose to work with her.
